Anarchy And Demolition

Stars fall from a darkened sky
Each torrent of salt water pulls me further out to sea
I'm surrounded by oceans, and yet my throat is dry
For the water's depths are those of an immense degree

The deafening silence is so very profound
And the painstaking happiness is unmistakable
There are missing pieces to this puzzle still to be found
The world dangles on a string that's unbreakable

But the sobs of so many unfortunate souls
Could cause that thread to quake
And we're losing administration of the controls
Chaos will rear its ugly head and leave destruction in its wake
