The Chase

He’s an angel
But he fell from grace
He’s had troubles
But he’s still who I chase

Lines of worry
On his otherwise perfect face
It’s strange because
When I’m around him I feel out of place

And I hope, and I wish
That maybe he can see past my disgrace
Though, I doubt it
So I’m still wandering through space

Anxiously awaiting
His warm embrace
And until that supposed day
I’ll be searching for a brace
